Using stamping mask paper, I stamped my 3 penguins from the "So Cool" stamp set from Pink and Main. I used Memento Tuxedo Black ink - since I would be using Copics to color my penguins.
I went ahead and cut my little penguins out with my cute little tonic scissors.
CONFESSION TIME:
I actually did everything below 2 times. The washi tape was NOT a good idea - it ripped up my card stock when I pulled it off. I ended up doing it again just using post-it notes! So in the steps below, DON'T use washi tape! Use masking paper or post-it notes! :)
I stamped my penguins above the washi tape / post-it notes.
Then I put their masks over top of them.
Then I stamped my middle guy.
And put his mask over him.
I stamped my sentiment.
When I re-made this card with post-it notes, I didn't stamp my sentiment until the very end (since the post-its were in my way).
I blended the top portion using Lucky Clover, Twisted Citron, and Cracked Pistachio. I focused the Twisted Citron in the center and then went darker towards the edges.
I removed my masks.
Then, I colored in my little penguins using the Copic colors shown below.
I added some droplets with Nuvo drops on my frozen treats.
Here's another look at the final card!
