First, I used a stitched border die from My Favorite Things for the background piece.

With the Drifting Stitches border dies from Simon Says, I created 4 separate waves on white cardstock.

Next, I used the Clouds stencil from Simon Says Stamp and the Squeezed Lemon + Scattered Straw distress inks to blend the background. I used a sunburst stencil to make it look like sun rays coming out behind the clouds.

I then lined up my waves how I liked them on the background and glued them down. I then used Salty Ocean and Peacock Feathers distress inks to blend the waves.

I added a few birds from the Clouds Skies stamp set from Simon Says Stamp.

I stamped a few fish from the Halibut stamp set from Darcie’s Heart and Home and the Father’s Day Finds stamp set from Simon Says Stamp. I colored them using Spectrum Noir alcohol markers and then adhered them to the background with foam squares.

I stamped my sentiment on white cardstock and then drew a word bubble around it. Using scissors, I fussy cut the bubble out and used a foam square to place it on the background. Finally, I used Nuvo drops to add some water droplets on the background.
